Surprise, surprise, I have once again fallen behind on updating my blog! But, I have decided from now on I am no longer going to feel guilty about posting so randomly, so I guess you're just gonna have to take what you can get :) Nothing much has been going on lately. We just finished watching the TIGERS let the state championship slip through their fingers, how depressing. They lost 18-21 to Juan Diego, crap. But on the brighter side of things, I finally picked out my new table, which I L-O-V-E, love!
and I am now trying to work up the energy and courage to take on two new projects, painting the following two items black (ugh, I hate to paint, especially when it involves sanding!):
Shawn is out putting up our gazillion Christmas lights, as I speak, or rather type. He absolutely LOVES the Christmas season and LOVES decorating our house with as many lights and decorations as possible, which is why we are now taking donations to assist us in paying our electrical bill for the month of December! and Brooklyn is napping ever so peacefully :) Hooray!! I just LOVE nap time! Here is a recent photo of her perfecting her killer scowl, I was trying to get a picture of her in her adorable leggings but she obviously was not feeling it...
We also had family pictures taken this week and I am not sure who was harder to get to cooperate, Shawn or Brooklyn! (He claims he HATES to get his picture taken) I'll put some on once I find some decent ones to post! and I talked Shawn into letting me buy Photoshop 7! I am so excited!!! Now I just have to figure out how to use it! Here is my first attempt: Ok well cancel that idea, I can't get it to upload and Brooklyn is now awake so I will have to try again later. But I am so excited to learn new things and hopefully figure out how to digiscrap and design my own blog layouts! (wow that sounds really ambitious! good luck to me!)

I wish that Nick liked putting up the Christmas lights as much as Shawn. He only does it because he knows it's really important to me. Gotta love him.
Your table looks great!
i love your table...and brooklyns killer death scowl! she sure does it good! haha good luck sanding and painting your 2 other pieces of furniture...if you want help just give me a call!! :)
Very cute table. I love home projects! Your little girl is so cute.
So JT did the scribbles on the picture. We made a card for Jon :) I put his age next to it so we could see how big his hand was at 17 months. A tradition that my mom used to do with us. We miss nursery too. We won't be there this Sunday, but should be back next. Have a fun Thanksgiving. See ya soon :)
